  1. Comfort

We are not suggesting you have your staff sitting on bean bag chairs. But you need to make sure that they are reasonable comfortable. What this means is that if they are working on computers for most of the day, they have chairs with back support. The desks should also be of reasonable height with enough room on them for your staff to work efficiently. But, think about how to keep your workers comfortable, based on the type of business you own. For instance, if you own a construction company, it would be a good idea to provide lockers. 2. Safety

Naturally safety is a big factor to consider. You want your employees to feel safe at work and again, how you do this will depend on what type of business you are running. RSI or repetitive strain injury is a pain in the upper limbs caused by typing for a long period without stopping. You can prevent this by ensuring that they take five-minute breaks throughout the day. Remember, if your staff does develop RSI, it will affect how efficiently they can work. 3. Equipment

As we said, you must be thinking about equipment, but this does not simply relate to safety. It also relates to how easily your staff can work. Imagine if you were stuck using a computer from the 90’s all day and trying to get work done quickly to a good quality. It wouldn’t work, so you should take this into account, buying the latest equipment for your employees to use. Last but not least, it is vital that your staff know they can come to you if they have a problem. Or, at least that there is always someone above them who they can speak to.
